These ingredients were approved by the Halal Control, Russelsheim, or the Halal Food Council of Europe, Brussels, which are both recognized by the Indonesian Council of Ulama. These products include the ingredients range from sugar-based surfactants, pearlisers, emollients, and protein derivatives for personal care applications such as cleansers or bubble baths.
Companies are entering into the collaborations, acquisitions, mergers, and licensing for increasing their market penetration. For instance, In March 2020, Impossible Foods had entered into the partnership with the Halal Shack to serve halal-certified Afghan-inspired cuisine.
