Personal Mobility Devices Market

A personal mobility device is designed for a single person. Mobility aids are devices designed to help people who have problems moving around enjoy greater freedom and independence. Typically people who have disabilities or injuries, or older adults who are at increased risk of falling, choose to use mobility aids. These devices provide several benefits to users, including more independence, reduced pain, and increased confidence and self-esteem. A range of mobility devices is available to meet people’s needs – from canes and crutches to wheelchairs and stair lifts. Canes are similar to crutches in that they support the body’s weight and help transmit the load from the legs to the upper body. Crutches help to transfer weight from the legs to the upper body. Within these broad categories are multiple subcategories and many options and combinations. The high-strength lightweight model wheelchair has minimal adjustable features, which commonly include a small range of rear axle adjustment, arm rest positioning, and leg rest length. K0004 wheelchairs are used longer term relative to the standard manual wheelchairs and standard hemi-wheelchairs described above, primarily by people who travel very short distances in indoor environments.
