Light fidelity (Li-Fi) is the wireless communication between devices using light signals. It has several advantages over traditional Wi-Fi, such as lower power consumption, security, and range. It can be used in buildings, cars, and other mobile objects to send data over a short distance without the need for wires or cables. It operates in the visible light spectrum, as well as in ultraviolet and infrared wavelengths. It can also transmit data over several floors in a building, even through walls. Li-Fi has a number of limitations, however, including its ability to only travel within line of sight and the fact that it can’t pass through windows.
