Cryogenic tanks are double-walled, vacuum insulated vessels designed to hold industrial gases that require storage at very low temperatures. They can be stationary or transportable tanks. Often these tanks are filled by the gas supplier who is responsible for their operation and maintenance. The tank has to be regularly maintained and subjected to formal examinations on a routine basis. These tanks are made of durable materials that can withstand extremely low temperatures and they are designed to be easy to handle and safe for transport. They are also equipped with safety features such as pressure regulation systems and rupture or bursting discs, which can be activated in the event of an unsafe increase in pressure that cannot be controlled manually.
Market Dynamics:
The market of cryogenic tanks is growing on the account of increased demand for industrial gases across industries like food & beverages, chemicals and pharmaceuticals. Industrial plants need to store and transport these gases in safe and reliable ways that prevent leakage and provide a stable temperature for the gases to be used in production. Moreover, rising adoption of nitrogen gas for storing biological samples in research institutes is again driving the growth of cryogenic tanks market. Furthermore, growing liquefied natural gas (LNG) consumption is further boosting the demand for cryogenic tanks for LNG storage and transportation purposes, thereby fueling the market growth.
However, fluctuating price of raw materials is expected to hamper the cryogenic tanks market growth.
