The working principle of the finger sphygmomanometer is mainly based on the measurement principle of arterial blood pressure. When the heart contracts, blood is pumped into the aorta and flows to the whole body along the branches of the blood vessels. In the arteries in the finger part, blood flows and exerts pressure on the blood vessel wall. This pressure is the arterial blood pressure. Finger-type blood pressure monitors sense this pressure change through sensors and convert it into electrical signals for processing and display. Although finger-type blood pressure monitors have the advantages of portability and simple operation, their measurement results may be affected by factors such as the thickness of finger blood vessels, ambient temperature, and emotions, so their accuracy may be slightly lower than that of arm-type or wrist-type blood pressure monitors. When using, it is recommended to measure multiple times and take the average value to improve accuracy.
