In 2014, the Norway cooler industry posted a very similar performance as in the previous year, with the number of units up by just under 2%. The total installed cooler base grew as point of use (POU) unit sales rose, while the bottled water coolers (BWC) market was down by over 5%. The number of total units stood at above 58,000.The consumer preference for POU units, moving away from bottled water coolers, has continued for several years now and shows no signs of waning.
