Cape Alumina Limited. (Cape Alumina) is a pure play bauxite company. The company carries out the evaluation of the one of the Australian largest under-developed, export-quality bauxite deposits. It controls over 1,900 square kilometers of exploration tenements in western Cape York. As of now, the company identified seven priority bauxite exploration areas. The company also conducted drilling programs at the Bauxite Hills and Pisolite Hills deposits and defined 2, 3 of in-situ bauxite resources of approximately 195 Mt at these areas. It holds 15 granted exploration permit for minerals (EPMs), nine mining lease applications (MLAs) and two EMP applications (EMPAs) beside the Rio Tinto Alcan (RTA) mining leases. The company also holds two EPMAs and one granted EPM over its Central Queensland bauxite project. Cape Alumina is headquartered at Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
