Amerigo Resources Ltd. (Amerigo) is a mining company. The company produces and sells copper and molybdenum concentrates with operations in Chile. It operates through its wholly-owned Chilean subsidiary, Minera Valle Central, S.A. (MVC). Amerigo has produced 51.7 million pounds of copper and 1,057,717 pounds of molybdenum in concentrate. MVC has a tailings supply contract with Codelco, a state-owned copper producer in Chile, to process copper tailings discharged from the El Teniente mine. The company processes the copper concentrate produced by the MVC under smelting contracts with Enami. It has its operations in Canada and Chile. Amerigo is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
