Wodociagi i Kanalizacja w Opolu Sp. z o.o. (Wodociagi), a municipal entity in the city of Opole, is planning to upgrade the Sewage Treatment Plant in Opole Voivodeship.
The project involved the modernization of a sewage treatment plant. It includes the reconstruction of the sewage on the street of Wroclaw, as well as parts of the network plumbing, a terminal pump station, sewer system, installation of water distribution pipelines, an outdoor control system and other infrastructural related facilities.
In March 2017, a financing agreement was signed between Wodociagi and Narodowy Fundusz Ochrony Srodowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej (NFOSiGW). Under the agreement NFOSiGW will provide US$21 million funding to the project.
