R&F Properties Co., Ltd (R&F) is planning to build a residential complex in West End, Queensland, Australia.
The project involves the construction of seven 11- to 12-story residential buildings comprising 988 apartments with 527 one-bedroom, 460 two-bedroom and one three-bedroom units on 1.68ha of land. It will be developed in three stages.
The first stage includes the construction of 179 one-bedroom and 232 two bedroom apartments, second stage includes 161 one-bedroom and 123 two-bedroom apartments, and the third stage includes 187 one-bedroom and 105 two-bedroom apartments.
It also includes a new riverside park, BBQ and picnic area and cycle path, which will replace the current Riverside Drive, retail space, commercial space, parking and related facilities, and the installation of elevators, and safety and security systems.
Cottee Parker Architects has been appointed as architect.
In December 2014, PointCorp submitted a development application (DA) to the Brisbane City Council (BCC).
In December 2015, PointCorp secured planning approvals.
PointCorp sold the site and development plans to R&F for US$57 million.
As of June 2017, R&F is awaiting approvals for the development of the project.
