In February 2013, WWE filed a notice of intent (NoI) with Oregon Department of Energy (ODoE).

In May 2013, project order was issued by ODoE.

On December 19, 2014, WWE submitted a preliminary planning application to Energy Facility Siting Council (EFSC).

On July 1, 2015, ODoE completed the application for site certificate.

On May 19, 2016, public hearing was commenced and the deadline to submit public comments by June 6, 2016.

On August 5, 2016, the ODoE issued a proposed order for site certificate.

A site certificate was issued in April 2017.

Scope

The project involves the construction of a 500MW wind farm on 20,234ha of land in Morrow and Umatilla Counties, Oregon, the US.

The US$960 million project includes the following:

2. Construction of a wind tower

2. Installation of 292 turbines

3. Installation of transformers

4. Installation of generators
