In January 2015, WLL and KLD have submitted an outline planning application for the project to Cornwall Council.
On August 27, 2015, the project secured outline planning approvals from Cornwall Council.
In November 2016, WLL and KLD is in negotiation with Cornwall Council to finalize the legal obligations.
The project has been facing delay due to legal issues.
