Vicity Group is undertaking the Lillenium Shopping Center project in Lille, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Northern France.
The project involves the construction of a new shopping center complex on a 56,280m2 area in Lille with retail outlets, food courts, leisure activities, a Leclerc shopping outlet on a 5,000m2 area a 3-star Holiday Inn Hotel and restaurants.
The project also features construction of an underground parking facility with 970 parking slots, a two-wheeler surface parking with 300 slots, access routes and parking facilities.
In the second quarter of 2011, the design contract was awarded to Rudy Ricciotti Architects.
On September 27, 2012, the project obtained the construction permits.
In the first quarter of 2014, demolition activities were completed.
In the second quarter of 2015, the EPC contract was awarded to Sogea Caroni, a subsidiary of Vinci.
Site preparation activities are presently underway.
The construction is expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2017.
