Val-Éo Cooperative(Val-Éo) is planning to undertake the construction of a wind farm in Quebec, Canada.
The project involves the construction of a 125MW wind farm in two phases. The first phase involves the construction of a 24MW plant with eight 3MW turbines and the second phase involves a 101MW plant.
The project includes the construction of substations and related facilities, the installation of wind turbines and transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.

Enercon GmbH has been awarded a contract to supply eight 3MW turbines for the first phase.
AQN has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Hydro-Québec Distribution for the first phase for 20 year period.
In May 2015, the project was approved by Commission de Protection du Territoire Agricole Quebec (CPTAQ).
Substation equipment has been ordered with the selected contractor for the first phase. However, the contractor details have not been disclosed.
Pre-construction activities of the first phase are underway.
Construction works on the second phase are expected to commence after the evaluation of the wind resource at the site.
The project is awaiting final approvals from Hydro-Québec and AQN.
