In May 2015, the project was approved by Commission de Protection du Territoire Agricole Quebec (CPTAQ).

Substation equipment has been ordered with the selected contractor for the first phase. However, the contractor details have not been disclosed.

Pre-construction activities of the first phase are underway.

Construction works on the second phase are expected to commence after the evaluation of the wind resource at the site.

The project is awaiting final approvals from Hydro-Québec and AQN.
