The project involves the expansion of sponge iron plant(the direct reduced iron (DRI) plant with a capacity of 6000 tonnes per annum (TPA),8,50,000 TPA iron ore beneficiation plant, 6,00,000 TPA pellet plant and 10,000 MW power plant). It is being implemented in three phases.
The first phase includes the construction of 10MW captive power plant.
The second phase includes the construction of 0.25 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) iron pellet plant.
The third phase includes the construction of a 0.85MTPA iron ore beneficiation plant and a 0.35 MTPA pellet plant.
It includes the construction-related infrastructure, the installation of machinery and safety and security systems.
