The University of Cambridge (UoC) is planning to undertake the construction of Sports Center in Cambridgeshire County, the UK.
The project involves the construction of a sports center which is being executed in phases.
The first phase of the project includes the construction of a sports hall, a basketball court, a tennis hall, a badminton court, a boxing court, a five-a-side football court, a volleyball court, a swimming pool, five squash courts, a fitness suite and other infrastructure-related facilities.

Arup Associates has been appointed as architect, structural engineer, mechanical and electrical engineer, and landscape architect, Gardiner & Theobald as consulting engineer, Mills & Reeve as legal advisor,
Davis Langdon as a quantity surveyor, Sweett (UK) Ltd as PMC contractor and SDC Construction Group as EPC contractor.
In January 2012, the project secured approval from Cambridge City Council.
In May 2012, construction work on the first phase commenced and completed in August 2013.
The University has provided US$15 million towards the project and remaining will be raised by the funds of the University.
UoC is waiting for the funds in order to commence its work on second and third phases of the project.
