Universitaire Ziekenhuis Brussel (UZB) is undertaking the University Hospital Expansion project in Jette, Belgium.
The project involves the expansion of the existing hospital on a 55,000m2 area. The project will be developed in two phases. The first phase of the project involves the expansion of the medico technical block and the construction of a surgical day care unit and other related facilities.
The second phase of the project includes the construction of a center for outpatient, administrative center, consultation cabins, emergency wards, operating theaters, access roads, parking facilities and other related facilities.
VK Group has been appointed as architect for this project. Design activities are underway.
The construction work is expected to commence in the second quarter of 2018.
