The project involves the construction of a 77,853m2 distribution facility which will be executed in three phases.
The project includes the construction of warehouses, storage facilities, administrative facility, parking and related facilities, and the installation of sorting automation equipment, automated conveyor systems, and equipment.

In October 2015, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority gave preliminary approval for the incentives through the state's Enterprise Initiative Act to UPS.
Hunt Construction Group, Inc. has been appointed as the construction contractor and Advanced Electrical Systems, Inc. (AES) as the electric supply contractor.
On August 25, 2016, a groundbreaking ceremony was, marking construction start.
In October 2016, site rough grading works completed and in November 2016, construction work on the main building commenced.
In April 2017, 20% of construction works completed.
As of August 2017, construction works are underway with the completion of the first phase scheduled for October 4, 2018, the second phase by September 6, 2019, and third phase by October 18, 2020.
