University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH) is planning to build a Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the US.
The project involves the construction of a 408-bed hospital. It includes the construction of treatment rooms, operating theaters, a waiting hall, intensive care units, emergency departments, a cafeteria, parking spaces and related facilities.
The project will be constructed in phases, the first phase involves the construction of 120-beds on 34,560m2 area.
The project funding will come from a combination of Federal Housing Authority bonds and internal UNMH funding.
UNMH unveiled the project plans in January 2016.
On April 4,2016, FBT Architects and HDR, Inc. were appointed to a development plan within six months.
The design team will also plan for an adjacent 26942m2 medical office building, according to a request for proposals issued by UNMH.
Construction is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2018 and complete by the first quarter 2021.
