Uganda Development Corporation (UDC), is planning to undertake the construction of a solar power plant in Uganda.
The project involves the construction of a 125MW solar power plant. It will include the construction of a powerhouse, a substation and access roads, the installation of generators, solar panels and transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.
In November 2013, UDC signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ergon Solair to develop the solar plant.
Ergon Solair has been appointed as a developer and Martifer Solar as the technical consultant for the project.
The project involves the construction of a 125MW solar power plant in Uganda.
