The Sobrato Organization (TSO) is planning to build a mixed-use community in Redwood City, California, the US.
The project involves the construction of a mixed-use complex on 4.5ha of land. It includes the construction of three residential buildings with 400 apartments ranging up to 6-story along Bay and Chestnut streets, three office buildings with 39,019m2 space, two retail buildings with 1,765m2 of retail space, a CVS Pharmacy building, 12,029m2 of open space, dog runway, walkways, outdoor seating areas and bicycle parking, 1,945 parking spaces and related facilities.
In June 2015, TSO acquires the land along with two private owners and CVS Pharmacy.
Studio T Square, Form 4 Inc, and TGP Inc were appointed as the architects and Kier & Wright as the civil engineer for the project.
As of December 2016, TSO is in process of submitting the outline planning application to the council.
In April 2017, TSO submitted the draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) to the council. A public hearing on the EIR is expected in June 2017.
