In May 2016, TRRL acquired the project site for US$13 million.

In October 2016, TRRL submitted an application for resource consent.

In August 2017, TRRL secured initial planning permission from Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC).

As of August 2017, TRRL is waiting for the building consent. Following the approvals, TRRL look ahead to appoint the contractor.
