The Resort Group (TRG) and Westbank Corp (Westbank) are undertaking the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina on Oahu Island in Honolulu County, the US.
The project involves the construction of a resort on 263ha of land. It includes the construction of three new restaurants, a redesigned lobby area, parking and related facilities and the redevelopment of the Ihilani Resort and Spa into a 371-room beachfront hotel, including 52 suites and 15 story residential tower with 150 units and the installation of elevators.
The project will include the construction of spa and wellness center, health club, and tennis center on 3,251m2 area.
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has been appointed as management contractor and Toyo Ito & Associates, Architects, Group 70 International Inc. and James KM Cheng Architects Inc., de Reus Architects as architects.
Philpotts & Associates Inc. has been appointed as interior designer, SWA Group as landscape architect and Resort Management Company LLC as project manager.
Nordic PCL Construction has been appointed as construction contractor.
In May 2015, pre-construction works on the hotel commenced.
In July 2015, TRG and Westbank obtained a major building permit for the project.
On June 28, 2016, construction works on the hotel completed.
As of August 2016, planning activities on the residential tower are underway.
