Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) is planning to undertake the expansion of Sultan Mahmud Kenyir Hydroelectric Power Plant in Terengganu, Malaysia.
The project involves the expansion of an existing hydroelectric power plant from its current 400MW to 460MW capacity.
The power plant has four turbines of 100MW each and as a result of expansion the turbines capacity will be increased to 115MW each by installation of four turbines of 15MW each.
