On June 19, 2015, TGP filed for a certificate with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
On August 11, 2015, FERC issued a Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the project and requested for comments on environmental issues.
On June 15, 2016, the EA was approved by FERC.
On December 30, 2016, the project received approvals from FERC.
On February 15, 2017, project received Notice to Proceed(NTP) from FERC.
