Trans-Asia Petroleum Corp. (TAPC), a subsidiary of the Phinma Energy Corp. (PEC) is planning to build an LNG terminal and 380MW power plant in Sual, Pangasinan, the Philippines.
The project involves the construction of an LNG terminal and 300MW power plant with a capacity of 400, 000 tons of LNG per annum. It includes the construction of an LNG terminal, a powerhouse, a cooling tower, gas storage tanks, chimneys, combustion chambers, a substation and related infrastructure, the installation of generators and transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.
As of January 2017, TAPC feasibility study underway and was completed in July 2017.
TAPC to undertake the final investment decision on the project in 2018.
