The Tanzania Airports Authority (TAA) plans to construct an international airport in Dodoma Region, Tanzania.
The project involves the construction of an international airport. It will include the construction of passenger terminals, runways, passenger lounges, access roads, an airport traffic control tower, parking spaces and the installation of escalators, and safety and security devices.
In August 2011, TAA concluded the feasibility study and concept design of the airport and commenced the land acquisition process.
