Swansea University (Swansea), Hywel Dda Health Board (HDHB) and Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board (Abertawe) are planning to expand a hospital in the UK.
The project involves the construction of a health campus on 22.2ha of land adjacent to Morriston Hospital.

In December 2015, Swansea Council's planning department approved project plans.
In August 2016, Abertawe applied for permission for a new 578-space car park.
In February 2017, the project proposal submitted to the Welsh Government for consideration.
Planning activities are underway.
