SunEdison Inc (SUNEQ) is planning to undertake the construction of a wind farm in Aurora, Hancock, Maine, the US.
The project involves the construction of a 72MW wind farm. It includes the construction of a powerhouse, a substation, and the installation of 23-turbines, and the laying of transmission lines.
In July 2013, SUNEQ submitted planning application to the Department of Environmental Protection. However, in August 2015 SUNEQ withdrew the application in order to address environmental issues raised by state regulators.
