Simon Property Group (SPG) joint venture with Noble Investment Group, LLC (Noble) and Columbus Realty Partners Ltd (CRP) was undertaking Phipps Plaza mixed-use development in Atlanta, Georgia, the US.
The project involves the construction of a mixed-use complex comprising 319 luxury residential units. It will include the construction of a 166-room hotel, two level parking deck, 232m2 meeting space, 81,755m2 shopping centre, office space, library, swimming pool and fitness centre, restaurants, parking and other related facilities.
The project also includes the construction of a residential project, “Domain at Phipps Plaza”, which will add 319 mid-rise urban-style luxury residences, yoga court, outdoor pool, health club, dog park with dog wash stations and rooftop terrace with a resident lounge being developed by Columbus Realty Partners, Ltd., (CRP).
On July 10, 2014, SPG made Joint venture with CRP for the development of the Domain at Phipps Plaza project.
On September 26, 2014, SPG made Joint venture with Noble for the development of the proposed project.
JHP Architecture / Urban Design and Cooper Carry have been appointed as architect, Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Inc. as management contract and Winter Inc as the construction contractor.
On January 13, 2015, construction works commenced.
In August 2016, construction works on 166-room AC hotel are completed and was opened.
Construction works on Domain at Phipps Plaza are underway.
