The project includes the construction of storage tanks, LPG recovery facilities, unloading facilities, associated civil, utilities infrastructure and condensate recovery facilities and the installation of high pressure send-out pumps, pressure vessels, ancillary terminal facilities, a LNG receiving facility, a vapor handling system, a LNG vaporization system and a hazard monitoring system and the laying of gas pipelines.

Holmwood Consulting Ltd has been appointed as the PMC contractor for the project.

In May 2016, SLNG completed the studies for the various locations of the east side of the Jurong Island. SLNG invited tenders for the feasibility study with the submission deadline as May 20, 2016.

On October 10, 2016, KBR Inc. was awarded the high level feasibility study contract, which includes exploring the possible expansion of the SLNG existing LNG terminal.
