South Kitsap School District (SKSD) is planning to build a school in Kitsap County, Washington, the US.
The project involves the construction of a 20,438m2 area high school to accommodate 1,500 students initially and later to increase the capacity to 1,800 students on 17ha of land. It includes the construction of classrooms, labs, staff rooms, administration space and related facilities.
On June 23, 2015, the project received approval from the SKSD's board to pursue a capital-facilities bond to develop the project.
SKSD will issue US$127 million bond measure for a second high school and technology upgrades on February 9, 2016 ballot and the US$6.4 million funds will be provided from state capital funds.
On February 14, 2017, SKSD failed to pass a bond for the project.
