Saigon Investment Group (SIG) is planning to undertake the construction of Wind Power Plant project in Binh Thuan Province, Vietnam.
The project involves the construction of a 200MW power plant with power house and substations. It includes the installation of wind turbines, generators and transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.
The project received in-principal approval from the government in August 2010. Further, it has been added to the national power scheme No. 6, which was created for the country’s power development during the period 2006 –2015, with a vision to 2025.
