Six Flags Inc (SFI) and KDC Solar (KDC) are undertaking the construction of a solar power plant in Jackson, New Jersey, the US.
The project involves the construction of 22MW solar farm on 26.7ha of land. It includes the construction of a substation and related infrastructure, the installation of solar panels, and the laying of transmission lines.
It also includes the destruction of 36.4h of forest area to install the solar panels.
On March 2, 2014, SFI and KDC received approvals from the local council.
