Shanghai Electric Group Company Ltd (SEGC) is planning to construct a coal power plant in Sindh, Pakistan.
The project involves the construction of 1,320MW (660MW X 2) coal power plant. The project includes the construction of power houses, a substation, and storage tanks, the installation of turbines and generators, and the laying of transmission lines.
On April 09, 2015, SEGC requested a letter of intent to Private Power and Infrastructure Board (PPIB) for the project.
