Sill Enterprises (SE) is undertaking a milk powder production plant in Plouien, France.
The project involves the construction of a production plant on a 70,000m2 of site area, a drying tower with a capacity of 20,000 metric tonnes and 40,000 metric tonnes in future, administrative buildings, staff rooms, warehouses, waste disposal facilities, access roads, parking facilities and other related facilities.
In September 2014, Sill Enterprises filed construction permits for the project.
As of May 2015, Sill Enterprises is in talks with environment clearance board of Plouvien and Milizac to get their approval.
In June 2015, the city council of plouvien has cancelled the construction permit.
On December 15, 2015, SE filed construction permits for the new location at the industrial area of Lavallot zone in Guipavas.
Local communities are opposing the project.
The project is presently on hold as the location for the project has yet to be finalized.
