The project involves the construction of an alcohol addiction treatment centre on a 27,035m2 area.
It includes the construction of 230 general inpatient bed facilities, 20 intensive care bed facility and an emergency department, 43 clinic facilities and the other related facilities.
Brighton Hospital (BH) signed a management contract with SCRHC in January 2010, which includes consulting, management, recruiting, technology transfer and clinical services for the project. KMPG has been appointed as a financial advisor.
Around 50% of the project cost will be financed by the Saudi government and the remaining will be financed by a variety of international banks and private investors including Brighton Hospital.
