The Sinohydro Corporation Limited (SCL) is undertaking the Zhuzhou Onshore Wind Farm project in Zhuzhou, Hunan, China.
The project involves the construction of an onshore wind farm with the capacity of 400MW. The project includes the construction of a substation, access roads and related infrastructure, the installation of wind turbines, transformers and safety equipment, and the laying of transmission lines.
The project will be built in two phases and is scheduled to complete the construction works by 2019. The wind farm will produce 800GWh per year when becomes fully commercial operation.
On September 12, 2014, the construction activities of phase I has been completed and connected to the grid.
