Sun Brilliance (SB) is planning to undertake the construction of the Solar power plant at the outskirts of Perth, in Western Australia, Australia.
The project involves the construction of a solar power plant with the power generation capacity of 100MW on a 165ha of land. It includes the construction of solar panels, related infrastructure and the installation of safety and security systems.
SB signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Community Electricity which will be converted to a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) once all regulatory approvals are in place, including connecting to the local grid.
The project will be built without funding from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (AREA).
As of February 2017, SB is in the process to finalize the construction contractor for the project, as well as for the necessary approvals.
