RioCan REIT (RioCan), Allied Properties (Allied), Diamond Corp (DC) and Tridel Corporation (Tridel) are planning to build a mixed-use community in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
The project involves the construction of a mixed-use community comprising seven towers with 1,587 residential units on 3ha of land. It will be developed in four phases.
The first phase includes the construction of an underground garage, including the servicing and loading platforms and the second phase includes a 36-story office tower and a 44-story residential tower.
The third phase includes the construction of a 21-story residential tower and a 38-story residential tower and the fourth phase includes the construction of three towers with two, 15- and a 13-story residential tower.
The project includes the construction of 40,205m2 of retail space, townhouses, community space, parking and related facilities, and the installation of elevators.
Urban Strategies Inc and Hariri Pontarini Architects have been appointed as master planners and Adamson Associates, architectsAlliance, and Wallman Architects as architects and Claude Cormier + Associés as a landscape architect.
As of August 2017, demolition works are underway.
Construction is expected to be complete by 2022.
