COPIL (RFF, Conseil Général de la Haute-Garonne, la Communauté Urbaine du Grand Toulouse and Conseil régional Midi-Pyrénées) will develop the Saint-Jory to Toulouse-Matabiau Rail Line Renovation project between Saint-Jory and Toulouse-Matabiau, in Midi-Pyrennes, France.
The project involves renovation of the existing 20km Saint-Jory to Toulouse-Matabiau rail line with the installation of two new tracks thereby making the line a four-track route. It involves renovation of the existing stations between Saint-Jory and Toulouse-Matabiau and construction of a multi-modal transport center at Toulouse-Matabiau, access routes and parking facilities.
The public inquiry process started in October 2014 to end in December 2014, which was further extended until January 2015.
In March 2015, the project was declared as disapproved of public utility and received an unfavorable opinion from the public authority.
The project is in consultation stage.
