Renewable Energy Systems Canada Inc (RES), Boralex Inc. (BLX) and Walpole Island First Nations (WIFN) are planning to build a wind farm in Ontario, Canada.
The project involves the construction of a wind farm with a generating capacity of up to 50MW. It includes the construction of a substation, access roads and related infrastructure, the installation of 12 turbines, transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.
The installation of the Enercon E-141, 12 turbines, which has a nominal power rating of each up to 4.2 MW. The turbines will each have three 66.7m blades with a hub height of 129m and a rotor diameter of 141m. The concrete foundation may be up to 30m in diameter.
Otter Creek Wind Farm Ltd Partnership is a partnership between RES and BLX. RES will own 51%, while Boralex and WIFN will own 38.5% and 10.5% ownership stakes in the project respectively.
