Reliance Cement Company Pvt Ltd (RCC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Birla Corporation, is planning to construct an integrated cement plant in Yavatmal, Maharashtra, India.

The project involves the construction of a cement plant with a capacity of 4 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).

It includes the construction of a clinker plant with a capacity of 2.9MTPA, a captive power plant with a capacity of 75MW, a clinker storage system, a coarse mixing system and the installation of a calciner, pre-heater units, slurry cleaning unit and material handling systems.

In July 2009, RCCPL signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra Government to develop the project.

In January 2011, RCCPL has submitted the project proposal for an environmental clearance.

The project secured a license from the forest and mining departments and the land for development has been acquired.

On January 22, 2018, RCC secured approvals from Maharashtra government for the project.

The project involves the construction of a cement plant with production capacity of 4MTPA in Wani, Yavatmal, Maharashtra, India.
