Vietnam's Quang Ngai Port Authority (QNPA) is planning to construct a harbor project Quang Ngai, Vietnam.
The project involves the construction of a harbor capable of handling 30,000-50,000 Deadweight tonnage (DWT) vessels on 23ha of land. It will be executed in two phases.
The first phase includes the construction of two, 520m long access wharves and other subsidiary works to serve 50,000DWT cargo ships.
The second phase includes the construction of two access quays, each 380m long and the remaining ancillary facilities for the landfall of 30,000DWT vessels.
The project includes the construction of quays, warehouses, service facilities, transportation and communication systems, other supplementary utilities and related facilities.
On July 20, 2012, the Management Board of the Quang Ngai province Dung Quat Economic Zone granted investment certificate for the project. The project will have license valid for 49 years from the day they were granted.
