PetroVietnam Power Corporation (PetroVietnam), a subsidiary of Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation, is planning to build a gas-fired power plant in Nhon Trach District, Dong Nai, Vietnam.
The project involves the construction of a 750MW gas-fired power plant on 16.59ha of land. It includes the construction of a powerhouse, a substation, storage facilities and access roads, the installation of transformers, generators and turbines, and the laying of transmission lines.
As of August 2017, planning activities are underway. PetroVietnam is requesting the government to assign itself as the project investor.
