PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Pelindo II), the Indonesia's state port operator, is planning to construct a port in Indonesia.
The project involves the construction of a new port on 5,000ha of land and will be developed in two phases. It includes the construction of quay walls, container terminals, a switch yard, administrative and related infrastructural facilities.
The first phase of development is to build a multi-purpose container port that stretches around 500m to 1km long, with a total area covering 50 to 100 hectares
