The PT PLN (Persero) on behalf of Government of Indonesia (GoI) is undertaking the Sipborpa Hydroelectric plant in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The project involves the construction of a hydroelectric power plant with a total power generation capacity of 114MW (3x38MW). It includes the construction of power houses, substations, spillways and intake and outfall tunnels; the installation of turbines, generators and safety systems; and the laying of power transmission lines.

The project will be implemented in BOOT (Build, Own, Operate and Transfer) basis.

In November 2016, PT.BS Energy and PT. Sinar Toba Energy signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Korea Midland Power Co (KOMIPO).

On March 14, 2017, a joint development agreement (JDA) was signed between PT.BS Energy, PT. Sinar Toba Energy, KOMIPO and Dohwa Engineering.

Planning activities are underway.

The project involves the construction of a hydroelectric power plant with a total power generation capacity of 114MW (3x38MW) in Jakarta, Indonesia.
