The project involves the construction of processing plant with an annual processing capacity of nearly 25,000 tonnes of copper and 20,000oz of gold in concentrate.
The project includes the construction of a flotation process plant, crushing facilities, grinding mills, a warehouse, and an administrative office, the installation of electrical and mechanical equipment, a fire & safety system and construction of other related facilities.
In June 2012, a pre-feasibility study of the project commenced.
In July 2014, the Environment and Social Impact Assessment for the project were submitted to the Government of Laos.
In March 2015, a road design survey was completed.
Planning activities are underway.
