Punjab Infrastructure Development Board (PIDB) is undertaking the Kotkapura-Mukatsar road project in Punjab, India.

The project involves the construction of a 30km road from Kotkapura to Mukatsar. It includes the construction of pedestrian ways, walkways, retaining walls and pavements, and the installation of lighting and overhead sign structures.

On April 19, 2012, the joint venture (JV) of Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd and SPML Infra Ltd was awarded a design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) contract.

The EPC work will be executed by Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd.

In January 2013, PIDB initiated the process of appointing an engineering consultant.

In March 2013, project received approval from the Department of Forest.

In May 2013, excavation works were initiated, however later it kept on hold due to financial issues.

In October 2016, final stages of construction works are underway.

Final execution works are underway with completion expected by the fourth quarter of 2017.
