In September 2016, Plovdiv Municipality cancelled the construction permit, due to illegal demolition attempt on the former site of a tobacco warehouse.

PG is in negotiation with Plovdiv Municipality to get the final approvals, which are expected by the end of 2017. The construction work is expected to commence in March 2018.
